Whitchurch Nursery
At Si-lwli children come first. Their holistic needs are valued and attended to by professional and caring staff. We offer Welsh language childcare to local families from Monday to Friday between the hours of 8am and 6pm.
On the first floor, twelve babies from the age of 6 months are nurtured to become independent, confident and happy toddlers. At this stage, normally around the 2nd birthday, the transition downstairs may begin.
On registration, babies will be allocated a Key worker whom will work alongside their family, extending the care and routine already established at home.
Communication with families will continue when adapting the routine, which will meet the needs of the developing child. Families are welcome to arrange informal meetings with the key workers as and when they want to, we have an open door policy and love having parents pop in to spend time with us.
Once downstairs, children are placed into small peer groups on the basis of their age and development. During the day staff encourage exploration and self-discovery thus developing the children’s self-esteem and life skills. It is important to us that children play and have fun.
Within Whitchurch village we are fortunate to be situated opposite a local park and within walking distance of the local amenities such as the library, shops, and cafes.
At Si-lwli we offer a wide spectrum of services and sessions to cater for the ever-changing needs and demands of working parents and families. Our aim is to also be as flexible as possible and provide you with the best service.
We offer wrap around care to coincide with our local school runs. The school runs are a unique service for families who wish their children to attend nursery school sessions.
We also offer two and half hour sessions of nursery education for children older than three years who would have fun playing with new friends whilst learning the Welsh language. This may also offer you some valuable free time.
Croeso cynnes i Eglwys Newydd
Y plant sy’n dod gyntaf yma yn Si-lwli. Mae eu hanghenion cyfannol yn bwysig i ni ac yn nwylo staff proffesiynol a gofalus. Mae ein gofal plant ar gael i deuluoedd o ddydd Llun i ddydd Gwener rhwng 8 y bore a 6 yr hwyr.
Ar y llawr cyntaf mae deuddeg baban 6 mis oed a hŷn. Mae pob un yn cael ei feithrin i fod yn dwdlyn annibynnol, hyderus a hapus. Dyma pryd, tuag adeg yr ail ben-blwydd, y bydd y broses o drosglwyddo i’r dosbarth hŷn i lawr y staer yn dechrau.
Ar gofrestriad baban mae yna weithiwr allweddol yn cael ei benodi ar ei gyfer fydd yn gweithio ochr yn ochr â’r teulu er mwyn darparu’r gofal a’r drefn a sefydlwyd eisoes. Bydd y broses o gyfathrebu gyda’r teuluoedd yn parhau wrth i’r plentyn dyfu a datblygu a’r angen i addasu’r drefn i gwrdd ag anghenion newydd ddod i’r amlwg. Fel rhan o’r broses cyfathrebu, mae croeso i deuluoedd drefnu cyfarfodydd anffurfiol gyda’u gweithiwr allweddol.
Unwaith y bydd y plant (cyf 30) yn cyrraedd y dosbarth i lawr y staer maen nhw’n cael eu gosod yn ôl oed a datblygiad mewn grwpiau bychain o gyfoedion. Yn ystod y dydd bydd y staff yn annog y plant i chwilio’r byd, i ddatblygu eu hadnabyddiaeth ohonyn nhw eu hunain a thrwy hynny i ddatblygu eu hunan-barch a’u sgiliau bywyd. Mae o’n bwysig i ni fod plant yn chwarae ac yn cael hwyl.
Yn yr Eglwys Newydd rydym yn ffodus iawn o fod cyferbyn â pharc cyhoeddus ac o fewn tro byr ar droed i siopau a chyfleusterau’r pentref.
Mae dewis eang o wasanaethau a sesiynau i’w cael yn Si-lwli er mwyn darparu ar gyfer newidiadau yng ngofynion teuluoedd a maes gofal plant. Ein nod ydi bod mor hyblyg â phosib a darparu’r gwasanaeth gorau y gallwn ni ar eich cyfer.
Rydym yn cynnig gwasanaeth hebrwng fel rhan o’n gwasanaeth cludiant i’r ysgol. Mae’r gwasanaeth cludiant yn wasanaeth unigryw ar gyfer teuluoedd sydd am i’w plant fynychu dosbarthiadau meithrin mewn ysgolion.
Rydym hefyd yn cynnig sesiynau dwy awr a hanner ar gyfer plant sy’n hŷn na dwyflwydd oed fyddai’n mwynhau cael chwarae gyda chyfaill newydd wrth ddysgu Cymraeg. Fe allai fanteisio ar y gwasanaeth yma roi cyfle i chi gael ychydig o amser i chi’ch hun.
